About Aimee Lasyone, CPA
Aimee began her career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Ernst & Young’s Assurance practice, where she developed a strong foundation in audit, internal controls, and financial reporting for regulated and compliance‑driven organizations.
In 2018, she transitioned into business consulting roles that focused on internal operations—supporting organizations with process design, technical accounting, and control environments as they scaled and faced increased oversight. This work required identifying root causes of financial and compliance issues and building repeatable systems to address them.
Today, Aimee applies that background to working with federal grant‑funded startups, helping teams implement compliant financial structures, document internal controls, and manage post‑award reporting requirements throughout the life of an award. Her focus is on creating clarity, defensible records, and processes that support both current compliance and future funding opportunities.
